Great Real Estate version 1.2 now available

I’ve just released version 1.2 of the Great Real Estate plugin for WordPress. It’s recommended if you’re using WordPress 2.6 or 2.7, since it corrects a jQuery conflict issue that has been affecting a few users.

The new release also includes the updated Zillow and Trulia feeds that were previously available only in the development versions, a new French (France) localization / translation, and a few other minor corrections.

The “featured homes” widget has been fully incorporated in the plugin and will be available all the time, so you will no longer see a separate entry in the plugin list for the widget.

Now that version 2.7 of WordPress is available, I encourage all of you who are using it to report any issues with the plugin on my support forums.

Still to come, after more integration and testing: some user contributed hacks to the Listings admin interface to speed up your editing. And possibly, compatibility with WordPress MU.

    Hello,
is it possible to use your plugin on multilanguage site? Can i use 2 languages with qTranslate plugin?

OK couple of things that make this plugin fail.

    1. No Pagination. What?

    2. Requires Lat and Long for Map to work. – rediculous.

    Hi,
thank you for this very useful plugin!

Helge Siems wrote in his blog http://gutes-von-morgen.de that you’re going to release a new version including a German localization/translation soon – is that right?

Jasmine: The new version isn’t out yet pending WP 2.8 testing but you can get it here:

Just choose the development version and you’ll get Spanish, German, French, Italian, and Russian translations. There are no other changes from 1.2.1 (yet).

And Dmitry, yes it should work with qTranslate as far as I know.

    Thank you!

Thanks for the plugin Roger. You’ve brought a different dimension to WP with this real estate stuff.

I sometimes see google advt code and analytics code automatically adding up to the page. Is there any option to control which IDs it should carry?

    Thanks mate!

  7. Ram Says:

    Hi

I realized that the analytics code was from a template I was trying to use but not the advt code.

But it’s a great stuff – thanks again.

Great Plugin. Question about ability to have listings under more that one parent page. We specialize in rural real estate (farms and ranches) and it would be great to have the ability to let someone select farms or ranches or vacant land as their category and then have listings show up here. Also is there a way to change the words MY ACTIVE LISTINGS on the listing page?

    Thanks again.

Is there a way to expand the search.
I mean, now if I type For Rent o For Sale or the City or something else, nothing is found. It only shows me results if I search for words in the title of the page, but not the state, or price, or description, etc..

Do you have a search field for the listings? Would be nice to have an additional search function plug in.
